Not sure what to say?

So sad for your family. He was a great guy.

John's Family,

I am sorry for your loss.

John was very good deputy and I will miss him.

John P. Stone
Retired Jeffco Sheriff
Bloomington,
MN

John was one of my first road supervisors and was truly one of the best at Jeffco. His inspiration carried me throughout the rest of my career. We became great friends and he will be missed.

I met Sgt. John Culler on June 20, 1977. I will never forget it. I was a foot taller than him and his voice was a foot lower than mine. Sgt. Culler was the first supervisor I reported to on Monday morning when I started with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Dept.. He was very calm, quiet and informative supervisor. I thank Sgt. Culler for all he taught me and for being a pillar of the Sheriff's Dept. My condolences to his family. He will never be forgotten.

I worked with John for only a few years while I was at Jeffco ('77 to '89), but I always enjoyed those times we worked together. I found him to be a great resource even after I left and went to another LE agency. Whenever I had a question about some really old cold case, he would give me a very "candid" explanation about what happened, who was involved and where I could probably find what I needed.
He was a great guy and I'm saddened to hear of his passing.

John, there are too many stories to tell and I don't where to begin! From laying our motorcycles down, werewolves running around Red Rocks Park to getting thrown over the hoods of cars parked at Irv's music lounge trying to break up a bar fight, you were the best! You were an outstanding deputy and one of the finest law enforcement officers I ever had the privilege of working with! You will be deeply missed John and I know that Jefferson County was a better place in every respect because you...

So sad to read of the death of a dear old friend who left many memories. John, you were loved and will be missed. Rest in peace.

Lauri and Johnny,

Your dad will be missed by his friends from the Jeffco Sheriff's Office. I met you dad at work in the mid 80's and we hit it off right away. We shared good visits and some good times. My wife Arlene and I wish you peace and fond memories.

To John's family our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. This has not been a good year. Working with John from the start of his time at SO he was a great person.
