Not sure what to say?

I am heart broken to read of his death. Jack photograph me numerous times throughout my modeling career. I have to many words to describe what a talented, professional and sweet natured man he was. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family he left behind.

Jack, we never got to finish our last conversation, see you on the other side.

I was honored to have him as an instructor in Out of Yosemite. He will be sorely missed and my condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you Jack. You always took the time to reply to any comments or questions I placed in front of you. Your photography and care for people will be sorely missed in this world. Thankyou for all you did for us.
In Memory
Raymond Marlow

I went to a late talk at a conference at Yosemite that Jack gave. I couldn't sleep that night I was so excited about what he shared. I also knew that I had several more sessions that were already scheduled and I knew I was in for something special. That couple of days changed my photographic life forever. I had been the oddball that did work in only B&W. Jack made it all real and let me know I was on the right track. He then showed me the path to make my work so much better and how to...

Alongside his other pursuits, Jack coached the ultimate frisbee team at Washington U in St. Louis. I was a member of that team for five years and got to know Jack quite well. It was a period of tremendous personal growth for me and Jack and the other coaches were one of the biggest contributors to this growth. Jack was always passionate, determined, lively, feisty and fun to be around and these are all traits that he imparted on me and my teammates. I am really thankful for his dedication and...

My deepest condolences to the Curran family!

I met Jack during a photography workshop in Yosemite this year. Even though it was such a short time learning from him as a student, Jack truly exemplified a life of gratitude, kindness, with open eyes and open heart!

He was one of those rare artists who was vested in mentoring people to make sure they thrive as artists themselves!

Jack, you will surely be missed!

Jack, I loved competing against you, I loved being your teammate. As I grew to know you better you epitomize the best of our Ultimate brethren. We are indeed brothers and sisters, we are family. You lived life to the fullest. All that came to know you were graced by your friendship. Loved the eulogy your son gave today. Peace to you, your family, your friends and all those you touched...
