Not sure what to say?

i miss you

Every year on our Birthday I think of John. He would have turned 75 on April 22, 2024. We were twins, our mothers were roommates at Stoney Hospital. I grew up in Unadilla. We grew up not knowing each other till we both landed in Cortland in 1969. We were both Physically Education majors. John was a special person. I´m proud to have shared our birthday, and knowing that we shared that bond for ever. I´ll celebrate for both of for as long as I live.

John was my birthday twin. Our mothers delivered us April, 22, 1949 at Sidney Hospital.i always teased Johnan old man because he was a couple hours older. Our lives reconnected attending Cortland. I still lived in Unadilla and John Mt. Upton. This year as I celebrate my 75 Birthday, I will say a special prayer for him. He was a very special Friend. My prayers still go out to his family.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to your services Mr. Curtis. You were a great leader and mentor. You always looked out for me. Thanks for believing in me.

My wife and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of John. I first met John as a lacrosse official. John and I officiated for about 15 to 20 years together. John was a great communicator on the field with the players, coaches and fans. That made him one of the best officials in Section 4. I always enjoyed working with John and I have always considered him a good friend. John has truly touched many lives and his life truly needs to be celebrated. He will be missed by his family, friends and...

I am now reading thru these wonderful memories and condolences for my brother. He was so much more than I could have imagined. He left us all with so many wonderful impressions and memories. Please use them to "pay it forward" to those around you. May God bless you all in a special way. Thank you for these shared stories. <3

John was and will always be special in my heart. We came into this world within minutes of each other at the Sidney Hospital. Our mothers were roommates on April 22, 1949. We continued our lives choosing the same profession and attending Cortland together. My prayers are with you all. He will be sincerely missed.
