Not sure what to say?

Dad, it has been one long year since you have left. The pain and emptiness are with us daily, and although it hurts, we are able to continue. I think of you often and wish that i had the courage to be more like you. I long for your advice and pray for your guidance. I hope you have found peace and happiness with mum by your side.
Love always, Rob

Dear dad; from your son John Charles Curtis. For those of you who did not know i was named after his father and when grandad died my father gave me his wallet that was embedded with JCC. I hold so many memories I could write a book. An Armed Forces man for most of his life, he never brought home any of his problems nor did he raise a hand to his children. He was full of patience and let me go my own way with full support and thats what made him a great father. He told me many stories...

Poppy, I miss you and I love you so much. I will always remember when I was little, you bursting in the bedroom door when I was supposed to be asleep next to Grandma and you would yell out, "Kacey, you want some ice-cream?!" And Grandma would say back "Jack she needs to sleep!" Ten minutes later you would quietly open the door and crawl across the floor towards me. I would sneek out of bed and we ate cookies, ice-cream and of course a tall glass of orange pop before I would crawl back into...

Jack you will always be in our memory.

Uncle Jack,
Fondest memories are with me when I think of you. Your laughter and smile and always a big hug. When I would see you I would see Grandpa too. Even though it was hard to say "goodbye", it comforts me to know I will see you again.
I will miss your yearly letters included with your Christmas card. You must all be having a great time together now that you are reunited with Aunty June, Grandpa and your sisters Rose and June.
Ken and I miss you a lot and remember the...

Uncle Jack, we miss you so much, too bad we had to get together under these circumstances. We got the chance to find your sisters, thanks to Stephanie. You are now reunited with them. You would have been so proud of Rob at the memorial service, he represented the whole family. Rob you did an amazing job.
Uncle Jack, we will meet again some day. Until then take care. Jeff, Tracy, Angela, Kanessa, Cailen, Ryden Hanzlik

Jackie,
You are forever in our hearts.
Your loving sister Nancy and brother-in-law Tom

dad, i love you.

Kapuskasing - where Jack's life began and ended. He accomplished so much in between.

Jack was a fine uncle, always cheerful and optimistic. I still remember his advise when he learned that I was traveling to England to go to university. "Travel as much as you can, get lots of souvenirs and be sure to have the time of your life..." - good advice for any of us.
