Read MoreDr. Curtiss was a smart and sweet man who was always happy to chat with Lizzie's awkward high school and college friend, namely, me. He truly loved his family. I heard what a good professor he was while at the U.C. School of Law where some students knew him. I'm sorry that his last years were not what he would have wished, but I'm glad that his family gave him the support that he needed up to the very end.

I did not know Mr. Curtiss, but if he was anything like his daughter Mary Anne, he was a wonderful dynamic smart man.

I knew Dr. Curtiss though his Quaker daughter, Mary Anne, and also at his position in Economics at U.C. He was a great man and contributed so much to the community.
