Not sure what to say?

My two daughters

I was John's friend and personal trainer for over 10 years during. He helped me with some legal matters and never charged me! A real Friend! I was living in River Forest on Thatcher Ave during the late 70s and all of the 1980s. Our neighbor was Tom Cusak and he drove a old black Mustang. Tom at the time was in his teens and he worked for my Dad around the house with chores. As you already know this was John's nephew. I also took a liking to Tom as well. It is funny how I knew Tom then and...

I'm so sorry for you loss. I'm late in my response here. I was John's personal trainer for over 20 years. And throughout the years John has helped with me legal matters. When my family lived in River Forest, Tom Cusak worked for my father. John's nephew. My father got Tom a summer job. I understand Tom passed many years ago. It's a small world. Many blessings to you and your family. Greg Keefer 773- 807- 3742

I am sorry to learn of this just now. John was a terrific lawyer and although I worked in the Washington, DC office while he worked in Chicago, and we are a generation apart, he was a dedicated advocate and mentor for me, and a man I've tried to emulate. I enjoyed the brief times we spent together in person and remain indebted to him for his unselfish interest in my legal career and personal growth, particularly as a new father. Blessings to the family he loved.

Light to the Soul of John Cusack on your journey home.

John was good company, always ready with a quip and a smile. We called him "Cuse." In 1956 he stood for election as Student Body President - I was to have a seat on the student court if he won. Of course, he did not win, but that was great fun and a grand lark.

My sympathies on John's passing. I met him at Arden Courts, where my father, Bob is a resident in Boat House. Boat House has lost at least five residents since my dad moved there last summer.

On behalf of Catholic Charities, I would like to express my sincere condolences on your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find comfort in knowing that John is now at peace.

Our sincerest condolences for the loss of your husband and father. My parents, Ed and Joanne Marsh, will be so upset that they missed the services. They will not be returning from Australia until next week. My family sends our love and prayers as well.

Cusack family, I am very sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of eating dinner at your house with your family. We are blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers goes out to everyone durning this time.
