Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Cusack family, I was just travelling down memory lane tonight via the internet and learned of this.... my sympathies to Fran and the family, only good memories :)

I have been thinking of Professor Cusack all week. I don´t even know how it happened but when I was a freshman at Emmanuel College he was asked to teach what we called CFlack math. I really don´t know how this fell upon him but he lead us math rejects through a wonderful semester of catching up on all the math we never grasped in high school! He was witty and amazing! He once came to class with a wicked cold and clearly he did not feel well. He said ...if I fall over and end up on the...

Elizabeth, I always enjoyed visiting with you and Mr. Cusack. He was so witty and you both were always so kind to me and David. I know that you and the family will miss him greatly. He was one of the good guys. Gerry, Sand Dollar, Amelia Island

My condolences go out to the Cusack family. Bernie was a great man. I have many great memories of Bernie and his family growing up in Brighton as a member of the St. Gabriels parish. Fran thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

John, you were the best history teacher I know. Your knowledge and the way you presented your classes was absolutely amazing. It's been 28 years since I graduated from Emmanuel College and I still haven't forgotten anything you taught me. I loved our conversations as well in the cafe on campus. You truly loved teaching and telling stories. You were not only a great professor, but a great friend as well.
My sincere condolences to your family and friends. God Bless you all.

Thank you for sharing your love of history with those of us so blessed to have you as a teacher.

Dear Elizabeth, we are so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. We worked with you for many years and enjoyed your sprit and joy over being our librarian at the Horace Mann. We are sending you love and light during this difficult time. Laura and Jana

Dear Elizabeth and family, we were so sorry to hear of Bernie's passing. He was an amazing person and will be missed by many friends at St. A's. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time. Barbara & Kevin Bucelewicz

I loved my history class at Emmanuel. He was amazing in his knowledge and love of the subject. One of my all time favorite teachers/professors. So sorry for your loss.
