Not sure what to say?

I just came across the sad information that John passed away. I was the office secretary when he and Jim Beers founded their accounting firm. I worked with them for about five years, and John was not only a brilliant tax strategist but a warm and kind gentleman. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Susan Ramsey Lunz

Kim, this is crazy late for expressing my sympathy to you and your children. I learned of his passing in mid July and just do not have words to properly express my sorry for one the friends I ever had, who influenced my life more than any other person. I was his best man in his marriage to Wendy and he convinced me to come to DC for a job with GAO getting us into the army reserve, and avoiding Vietnam. I am so very sad. John was my closest friend from 7th grade on. Sandy and kept in touch and visited with John for some years after high school and college, but then life and work got in the way and our contact was mostly at GHS class reunions. Still, we were best friends. As Ginny and Marc said below, he was smart, active, and just fun to be around. We will miss him.

John was a close friend since high school. He was full Of fun and we had many laughs and adventures. I am so so sad. He emailed recently that he loved his life and his special wife and beautiful twins! He said he was well and happy. He was a great friend who I will never forget. My condolences to his family.

My sincere condolences on John´s passing. John was one of the most popular guys in the Glastonbury H.S. Class of 1962. He easily fit in with the intellectuals, jocks and car guys with his wit and outgoing personality. He was definitely one of the good guys!!!
