Obituary
Babinski, John D. & Kathi S. John, age 51 and Kathi, age 52, residents of Nisswa, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. John was born December 7, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN to Donald and Elizabeth Babinski. Kathi was born January 10, 1954 in South Bend, Ind to David and Naomi Hartman. Survivors for John include his parents, Donald and Elizabeth; daughter, Amanda; and 2 sons, John and Ryan; a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Babinski in September of 2005. Survivors for Kathi include her 3 sons, John Dee, Ryan Dee & daughter-in-law Lisa Dee and Matthew Dee; her parents, David and Naomi Hartman; 3 sisters, Valerie Fletcher, Vicki Hartman, Karen Hasselquist; 2 brothers, Clay Hartman and Clint Hartman; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa with Father George Zeck officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa. Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd, 218-829-4755.

Donald & Betsy, I never met u but Donald I spoke briefly 2 u on the phone shortly b-4 Johns tragic accident, u asked me if I wanted to cut Johns hair? I said no I did your grandkids hair and lynne is one of my best friends!
B-4 lynne and John got together I remember Lynne asking if she should go out with the boss when she was your Mgr at New Brightonview Apts & I simply said if you don't I will!She took my advice the rest is history!
John was very sweet and good to my boys!He stuck up...

To lose a parent is tough enough but to lose both parents at once is beyond words.

I have many wonderful memories of John in my life. He will be greatly missed by myself and my family. I am thankful for the time we all had with him and grateful that he was my godfather. My heart is with you all.

i went to junior and senior high school with kathi.what a beautiful woman she was.i feel your pain,and cry your tears.my only son was killed in a auto accident on 6-24-2006 he was 24.i will pray for your familys.god bless you all.

John Dee Jr, I know it's been 20+ years since we use to hang out together back on 39th Avenue in Plymouth. I just wanted to let you know that you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard the news of your mother. I remember her being a very kind and loving person.
