John is already missed by all of his friends. He was a wonderful advocate for his ESL students and families. He wanted the best for them and he made sure the students were getting everything they needed to be successful in school. John loved talking to people and could talk to the fencepost if he had to. I will miss you little brother. I'm so glad you had Hazel and your group to help you, and be your family in your new home of Kentucky. You did well. You had to teach in 3 colleges and 3 prisons to make a week's pay, without benefits, in Boston. In Ky. you got good pay, benefits, and respect.
