Not sure what to say?

My very sincere and deepest sympathy to Uncle John's family. He was a kind, sweet man who will long be remembered by all who knew him. I loved his smile, warmth, and best of all his big and wonderful hugs ... he always made my day!! I will surely miss him!

Fr. Dalton presided at our marriage on Jan. 26, 1957 at OMOS. He was so well loved there and I am sure, at each parish he served after that. Although we had not seen him in many years, he has never been forgotten. We send our deepest sympathy to his many friends and to his family.

Fr. John's smile was so friendly and
his help so gracious. How he enjoyed
the company of my dear brother, Kennny Grantz, and his law associ-
ates, in the office and at lunch!
I also received courteous welcome
when back in my native Kentucky.
John, surely you are with us in the
Communion of Saints! Leon, C.P.

Fr.John, surely you have a twinkle
in your Irish face (perhaps hidden).
How my brother, Kenny Grantz, and his lawyer-associates enjoyed your
company at lunch! How kind and helpful you were to me also. Surely
in the Communion of Saints, you are with us all.-- Fr. Leon Grantz,CP
Native of Holy Name Parish.

I was very saddened to hear of Father Dalton's passing. I remember him very fondly when at St.Columba where I attended grade school. He taught all of us many things-mostly caring for others. I will always remember his kindness and warm smile. I extend my sympathy to his family.

Our prayers are for Father Dalton and with his family. I was a young boy when Father Dalton was assigned to Our Mother Of Sorrows Church. He was a good man and priest. He will definitely be missed.

Our deepest sympathy.

To the Family and Friends of Father John Dalton:

Father John Dalton, known to some as "Father Uncle" was a priest's priest, who enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a great zest in everything he did and always put the Lord first. Father Uncle, you will always be in our hearts.

May Father's family and good friends find the peace of mind and of heart that we all seek.

Respectfully,
Puttick

John , During your life as a priest and friend you touched many people, of all and varied persuasions in so many ways, many of whom we will never know. Their lives are so much better because of your wisdom and advise. You were always concerned about who would win the race. You yourself have now finished and won the greatest and most important race of all overcoming many obstacles and hurdles along the way.You will be always be part of Hallandale/Gulfstream Park and always be remembered at St...
