John K. Daly of Plymouth, died on January 3rd at B.I.D. Hospital Boston. He is the beloved husband of Judith (Cavicchi) Daly. Loving father of Craig Daly and grandfather of Avery and Jakob, Janel and Halie Grobleski he is also survived by several nephews. He was the nephew of the late Gertrude Madigan. Born in Cambridge on August 22, 1946 son of the late John and Florence (Madigan) Daly. He was a graduate of Ridge High School in Cambridge and went on to serve in the US Army Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Staff Sgt. With the 19th Air Command Squadron Unit. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. John worked for over 30 years for UPS as a driver. He loved the outdoors, hunting, traveling, his home in Florida and his greatest joy spending time with his grandchildren. He was one of the original founders of Plymouth Youth Hockey and coached several youth hockey teams. Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet) on Monday January 8 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am. With a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am in St. Bonaventure’s Church Manomet. Burial in Manomet Cemetery.
