Condolences to the family. John's long service in the air pollution arena will be missed in the Commonwealth and across the nation.

I am saddened and my deepest sympathy to the family. John was truly respected and will be missed.

My sincere thoughts and prayers to John's family. John was a true gentleman in every aspect. John's dedication/work ethics were truly admirable and inspiring. John always listened to all sides of an issue and took into account perspectives from everyone before making a decision. John's passing is truly a loss, but his legacy to the DEQ will hopefully carry on. Thanks John for everything.

I knew and worked with John in various capacities for over 18 years. Over those years I learned a lot from him about tackling difficult problems with a calm, reasoned approach and with a sense of humor. We will all miss him very much.

It is with my deepest sympathies to his family on John's passing. May it bring you gentle comfort to know that others care, may it help you to remember that friends are always there, may the love and strength of family help you face tomorrow, and with time may quiet memories help to ease your sorrow....
