Dad was a good father-in-law to me. He was always happy to see me and our children (Andy and Shauna) and all seven of his great-grandsons (from his son and me). He was very proud to show off the photos of his great-grandsons to everyone at the Senior Center; even if he couldn't always remember which of his grandchildren parented them. He was always ready with a joke or a funny story, even if we heard it a million times before. I will miss him dearly.

Putt was often at our house while I was growing up, helping with something or other. He had a large part in transforming my parents' barn into a beautiful home for them. He and my dad were also members of Harry Oaten's Potbellies. A good man, a gentleman..whom we all loved. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Viola, Sharon, John, Sandy & Families:
I am so very, very sorry to hear of Putt's passing. The world has lost one of it's best! He was calm, kind, thoughtful, tough, and always ready to help.
Even when one of his jokes wasn't particularly funny, you had to laugh because he got such a kick out of telling it!!
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sir,
I did not know you personally, however I would be honored to "Thank You" for your dedicated and honorable Military Service to OUR country.
At a later date we will meet in that "SPECIAL PLACE" which GOD reserves for ALL of those who have stepped forward to serve their country in a Military Uniform.
May ALL of GOD'S blessings be with your Dear Family!
