John was born November 17, 1951 in Des Moines and passed away on January 20, 2017 in Des Moines. He served in the U.S. Navy for ten years. John retired from Hines Realty in 2014.
John is survived by his sister, Loretta Hines; nephew, Allen Kramer; nieces, Kelly Phillips and Michelle Kramer; all of Des Moines.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Brooks Funeral Care in Clive. He will be interred at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Loretta - SO sorry to hear about John's passing. Interesting guy and always willing to help out. He and I used to watch the deer come across the field at dusk across from your first office in Pleasant Hill. Peaceful.
