The world lost a bright light and the Longhorn Nation has lost one of its best. John will be dearly missed. Loved every blessed minute we had the pleasure of spending with this amazing friend. Sending prayers to all of the family. May the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

We especially enjoyed our football pre-game moments with John. His exuberance and enthusiasm were contagious. A true joy of a man to have known.

I knew John my whole life. He always called me Baby. I can remember going out to eat and he would always find little kids and give them a dollar. He had the biggest heart. He will be greatly missed. We love you Joyce
