Not sure what to say?

There are many days that I think about John and how kind and sweet of a person he was in our neighborhood. I miss seeing him around his house and he was always willing to give a helpful hand with his beautiful smile. You will never be forgotten John.

John was a lifetime member of the Hugh Purvis Reunion Association and we will miss him at our reunions. We last saw John in 2013 in Norfolk, VA. "Fair Winds and Following Seas" John

John was a wonderful person he was kind ,compassion and he cared for so many people he helped anyone that would needed help . He was a very good friend of my family. He will be missed and my prayers goes out to all his family.

What a ride we had together. Six years together as roommates, countless trips, parties, and barstools. You were the best man- not only at our wedding, but as an “uncle” to my kids, and a life long close friend to us. Our gratitude and appreciation for your contribution to our lives is boundless. My entire family will always remember the countless laughs we shared and your kind, loving heart. We will always cherish those memories

He was one of a kind. Glen Burnie will miss him.

John was a beloved neighbor for whom I will miss very much. Always willing to sticke up a conversation with me and share his yummy veggies from his garden. Rest in peace John and God bless.

Brother John is one of the nicest man I have met. He loved to talk about the reenactments
And always would stop to talk to me when I was in the neighborhood. He will certainly be missed.

My prayers are with John and his family. John was a great person and friend and I know he will be missed by all. R.I.P. John
