Not sure what to say?

I was Chris' basketball coach in college. He was the best teammate I had in 38+ years of athletics. He was tenacious, hardworking, kind, supportive and unfailingly unselfish. Thank you Jim and Jeannie for sharing your son with us.

I was a few years behind Chris at Altamont. For me, he was always the model cool kid, but only in the best ways. As a student and as an athlete, he brought both discipline and playfulness to everything he did. He seemed to live in the sweet spot between achievement and grace. What do we do when God answers our prayers differently than desired? We shed tears and yet trust; we ask questions and yet trust; we feel the pain and yet trust. That is what we do: We trust God's sovereignty through it all. Julia, your ANet family is here with you during this time. We love you and you are in my prayers.

My sincere condolences during this difficult time. We are praying for you and your family and wish you all the best as you navigate through this period of grief. May God continue to bless your boys as you carry on in his memory.

Well, this sad news breaks my heart. My family (Jeanne, Nathan, Graeme, Molly) was close to the Davis family for several years back in our Forest Park days. The Davis group was without question the warmest, most friendly family in the neighborhood. No family was more loved than this clan. I remember Chris as the cutest most engaging kid I had encountered. He was so cute that I was surprised to learn later on that he was also brilliant. I am not at all surprised that he chose to go into...

Your son Chris must have been an amazing man, and I am sorry never to have met him. I wish you comfort in this time of sadness but hope in the knowledge of him being in a better place and of being reunited in the future. My condolences, Gaye

Sorry to hear about the passing of Chris. Chris was so sweet, kind and was a very intelligent young man during the times when we were in his presence at Altamont with our son, ( Dr. Cedric Harville II). He had a wonderful caring, helpful personality!! May God continue to give you strength during this time. Our prayers are with his wife, sons, Jim, Jeannie, Reed & other family.
