Not sure what to say?

I was Rod's roommate at Yale Divinity School. I remember him as kind, articulate, and concerned about his church and his nation. It is no surprise to me that he was a successful pastor and teacher. Jim Harvey Hadley, MA

I was a classmate of Rod at Yale Divinity School in the 1960s. I remember him as a true gentleman and a fellow student pastor at a nearby church.

I'm sorry to see Rod has left us! He was such an ally and friend at Samford. I'm glad I knew him.

Roderick was a dear uncle to me, always present and involved in my life. He set a beautiful example in his joy for lifelong learning, the impact he made through teaching, his never-ending positivity, and his compassion for others. He inspired me to be curious, keep an open mind, always strive to learn more, and help others along the way. I loved him dearly, miss him terribly, and will forever treasure the memories we shared. Thank you, Uncle Roderick, for teaching me so much!
