Not sure what to say?

We were sorry to hear of Jack's passing; we always enjoyed our times together, infrequent as they were, when we visited State College. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to the Davis family.
"Just as seashells remind us, every passing life leaves something beautiful behind. May that beauty live on in your memories"
Merrill & Marianne Shafer

To the Davis family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. May God continue to bless you until you someday are reunited with your loving husband and father in heaven.

"For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him"

1 Thessalonians 4:14 kjv

To the Family and Friends of John:
We had an opportunity to get and know Pastor Davis through the Milesburg Presbyterian Church. What little contact we had with him was great. May your family and friends find comfort from the Lord as they make they go through their grief and sorrow.

It was so good to read about Jack's life and to remember what I liked so much about him. My love and sympathy to all of you. I wish I could be there on Friday in person but will be there in thought.

Please accept my sympathy on your loss of John, although it's Heaven's gain. As a member of the Milesburg Presbyterian Church, John was a familiar face to us as a congregation where he served as moderator & temporary pastor, on occasion. He was always kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and a favorite, among us. He shall be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Hurrah for Jack! One of our Great people!
Joy amidst sorrow. Hope to be there Friday.
Our love and sympathy.
God bless you all.

I enjoyed a great friendship with John when he was a Consultant with IMC in Montoursville, PA. The many hours we spent together will long be remembered. John's vast knowledge and experience was tempered by his ever present sense of humor.

Dear Barbara & family,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Kathy

What beautiful sentiment you've written--I miss Uncle Jack already! My love to all of you!
