Not sure what to say?

Jack was one hell of a guy. I wish I had the opportunity to listen to his experiences during the war, but he never mentioned and I never had the courage to ask him. He was a great friend and I'll miss him.

Dear Aunt Arline: There are no words to express how sorry we are. We will miss Uncle Jack terribly. His booming voice is something I will never forget, along with his wit and humor. We have all lost a wonderful man. We love you. John, Maureen, Johnny, Caroline, Dan and Rebecca Korosec.

I regret not spending enough time with Uncle Jack and Aunt Arline in the recent years. When you loose someone you love, the first reaction is loss and then guilt, but once you get past that you get to the memories of all the time you did have to spend with them. Since Tina and I were in the same class at St. Christine's and then High School, we spent a lot of time together. There were many sleep overs and I always remember Uncle Jack getting up first thing in the morning and putting the...

Dear Aunt Arline and family, where do I begin? I am so grateful for the chance to really get to know you, Uncle Jack and my cousins out at "the lake". You know the one I mean - Betsy!! We had the most wonderful times and such great laughs together. Some of those circles around the fire were so big you couldn't even get warm, and other times they were so small some people caught their shoes on fire! If it weren't for mom and dad buying the trailer I never would've had the opportunity to...

My grandfather was the "Jack" of all trades. He was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle,
marine, firefighter, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed. He was also a teacher. He taught many of us so many things. If each person he touched signed this guest "book", this would turn into a lengthy novel. He taught us all many lessons. He taught me some of my first curse words in fact. I won't go into details of which ones, but something about a monkey and a football... A few years ago my...

I was a Euclid Firefighter for 11 1/2 years. Jack was my Platoon Chief for many of those years. What a "decent" man and boss he was. He was a fair leader. Jack was never afraid to go into a burning structure. He was always there for his men. I tried to talk him out of retiring because I thought he could have been fire chief. I can't say enough about Jack.......what a great guy. I'm so very sorry that I couldn't be here for the sevice...I was out of town. May Almighty God forgive him of his...

Dear Arline & Family:

We all lost a super guy. He'll remain in our hearts forever. We'll think of him everytime we have a dish of ice-cream. All our love, Joe, Peg & Family, and Olivia, too.

Uncle Jack:

You will be dearly missed by all of your nieces & nephews. You were one of a kind. I thank you for allowing me to sometimes be your "extra" daughter. All my love

Arlene and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Our condolences to the family. Jack and I worked a lot of fires together, he was a great fireman and human being.
