Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs Dean and family. It was with great sadness we heard of John's death. We have very good memories of him, though we only met him twice. He was a welcoming and warm man, who valued and cherished his family. On his trip to The University of Limerick, Ireland, where we met and conversed with him, we immediately understood him as a principled and honourable man and his record of service to the USA and the world speaks for itself. He made a difference.
However I know it is the...

To the Dean family - I was a Spec/4 at XXIV Corps in DaNang, 70' 71, while my Dean was at the consulate. I set up the daily briefing room for the generals and other military and civilian attendees. Mr. Dean was always approachable, friendly and kind to this kid of 22. He always made me feel of value and I have never forgotten his kindness. Peace to you and know what a difference he made to the many human kind he touched.

Dear Mrs. Dean and Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. Ambassador Dean was a very accomplished American with decades of extraordinary service to our nation- but as importantly in my mind he was a wise, thoughtful and kind man with sincere moral convictions who was a great role model to me and who really made a difference in my life as a 21 year old especially through our conversations (where he treated me as an equal in some of our long discussions and encouraged me on my dreams of...

Dear Mrs. Dean
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Dean's passing. One of my favorite memories of living in Laos was being friends with Paul, and coming to your house as Paul's guest for a meal or two. It was always a special occasion because Mr. Dean and you were so welcoming. We have added John Dean to our prayers this evening, and to all of your family, to give you comfort during this time. He touched many people in his life with his goodness. God Bless. Lloyd [email protected]

Mrs. Dean, please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Ambassador Dean. I was privileged to know and work for him in Bangkok, however short a period of time that was in his distinguished life. Knowing the both of you was a pleasure.
With best regards,

My condolence to family and friends may the God of everlasting comfort give you peace at this time of sorrow
