John O. Debenham

I first saw Dr. Debenham around 1973 about my knees. One thing that made a great impression on me was overhearing him see some people who had obviously 'just walked in off the street' wanting to see 'the doc' about their leg issues. They were obviously the unfortunate 'disconnected' outside of mainstream society. He could have asked them to leave, but he didn't. He listened to their complaints and respectfully gave them what self help advice he could. A true gentleman...

While I did not know John, I know his brother Warren, who was at Lowell High School at the same time 1947-1951 and Warren's wife Sally. My heart goes out to Warren, John's wife and family for the loss. God Bless You.
