John DeChene passed away in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on June 21, 2011, and The Seattle Times on June 23, 2011.
Skip has been a good friend since 1965. He introduced me to my wife of 39 years. We watched our families grow up. He will be missed. Our hearts go out to Barb and their family.
Thank you, Skip, for making a Warrior Shield and a Life Shield for me. They watch over us still.

I hung out with Skip after high school and his sevice in the Navy. Had a lot of good times. lost contact as time went on but never for got the times we had together.

So sorry for your loss! John was a good man,worked with him when our work crew trimmed the first 16 sets of wing skins for Boeing's new 777 airplane and had a lot of laughs together. Rest in Peace John.
