Dear Dottie and family, I´m so sorry for your loss. You and John were a sweet couple and fun to be with. I remember a time back in the `70´s when Mikie Paulsen and I joined you and John at the Hippogriph to see Steve Martin before he became a movie star. You both invited us back to your lovely home for a nightcap and made a warm fire in your fireplace. A fond memory. With sympathy, Jan Blaeser (Smolik)

I'll never forget John. I was on my 1st date with Bob at the back bar and very nervous when meeting all his "Gid" friends. John told them to settle down and he put me at ease. This was over 50 years ago and have been friends with the DeGidio family ever since. (Friends with Bob too!!!) RIP John!
