John F. DeGilio

Mr. DiGilio was one of the best teachers at Forbus Jr. High, my 9th grade class, as I remember. He used to have peppers and sausages at his home for students to visit his home on Friday nights. As I remember. RIP sir.

RIP Mr. Digilio. When I went to Pk. High School he was my Science teacher way back. He replaced a teacher we had who just sat at his desk and read to us out of textbook. So boring! Mr. Digilio was great! He sure livened class up and we learned a lot and enjoyed his class. My condolences you his family and friends

Hi Folks.....
Mom and I read of Mr D's passing ,today, with sadness....Not only because Mom grewup with all the De Gilios....but, most importantly, he taught all of my Mom's four children in Pk schools....we are all forever grateful !! Not only was Mr. D our neighbor....but we all loved Mrs D too....what chocolate chip cookies she made for everyone in the neighborhood! I'll never forget going downtown on Saturday mornings with my gramppy...Vincenzo Amodeo...and meeting Skip's Dad for...
