John C. Delic

John was born on November 22, 1925 and passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. John was a resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. He attended St. Rochus grade school and then went to Catholic High School where he graduated in the class of 1944.He attended Alliance College on a football scholarship where he received All American Honors. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the U.S.S. Gold Star in the South Pacific for 27 months as an A.M.M. 2nd Class. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Clement Catholic Church, Fr. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on September 15, 2017.
