I first met Dr. DeMarsh in 2007 as an Osteopath who helped me immensely and as a result continued to see him for another 11 years thereabouts. I found his patience allowed me to ask questions and feel comfortable with his osteopathic approach. I enjoyed his cats who were always a little too friendly sometimes wanting to get in my car from the attention I bestowed upon them. I remember John really well from the early grades at Rosedale Public School, and the Saturday morning 5-pin bowling at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club. Lastly I remember visiting at John house and just being kids. It was sad learning of his passing.

John was a great human being and I wish we had stayed in closer touch in adult life. Always musical and a great athlete. Considerate of others and dedicated his life to helping others. Goodbye John!!

I knew John through our 5 years at Jarvis together, 1966-71. Although never in the same class, we were combined into the same gym/pool classes for most of those years. He was a gifted athlete, primarily in basketball, but good at all sports. He was also gifted academically, one of the smartest.
