John you will be dearly missed at camp we had so much fun playing horseshoes with you and getting to know your wife and children. Our deepest condolences to your wife and children.

My sincere condolences to the Demers family on John's passing. I have many unforgettable memories of John from the great days of Troop 114. I remember the camping trips, the 50-mile canoe treks down the Saco, the weekly summer camps, freezing on Henhawk Trail (when we bugged out and the legendary troop leader Mr Demers (his father, Joe) carried half the troops' packs out by himself on his back), and using parachute string to smoke beef jerky during wilderness survival training. Speechless. That news just knocked me out. I wish I found out sooner than 5 minutes ago. I could have easily made the wake. So sorry for this loss. So many awesome memories with John and the whole family. I was lucky enough to have him come out and say Hi and talk with my parents and I at the Rapids restaurant a few years ago.
