Not sure what to say?

John was a member of my high school class of `75 at GWHS. I did not know him closely, but he was a friendly, outspoken kind of guy you couldn´t help but notice. I have seen his Facebook posts on and off over the years, and remembered him as a well-like classmate. RIP, John .

David & Jay. I´m so sorry to hear about John´s passing. The smirk on his face in this picture is the same that I remember from kindergarten. My prayers are with your families.

Dear Matt, Dianne and family, I am holding all of you in my heart during this difficult time. It's been many years since St. Bridget School days, Matt, but I remember your Dad always made me smile. I appreciated the beautifully written tribute which gave me a window onto his later life with you, Dianne - well-lived, happy and full of love - and that made me smile too. May his memory be a blessing to you all.

Dianne, Matt, and extended family & friends, Such a remarkable and friendly person to all who knew him. I recall many times growing up with John and laughing together. He will be missed. Jesus tells us in John 14 - "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this sad time. I am shocked to hear about John's sudden passing. I knew John from our time at GWHS. He was a good friend with that unmistakable smile and a great sense of humor. Know that there are many friends who are keeping all the family in their thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Sincere condolences for John´s family. A great friend in D.C. and my roommate in Richmond before either of us were married. I am saddened to hear of his passing.

Dear David, Jay, and John's family, I am so sorry to hear about your brother's death. It sounds like he was a man who appreciated music and art, and the things of beauty and talent. (He might have encouraged more practice for our band at G.W., David.) Although John's passing is way too soon for all in your family and circle of friends, the Bible says, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." God welcomed home another member of this good family. May He comfort...

As former neighbors in Midlothian, John and I are sad and heartbroken to hear of your John's sudden passing. He was such a happy and jovial person with a laugh that could brighten your mood! You and Matt and family will be in our prayers!
