Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of knowing John through the Mukilteo Library. He was one of our favorite patrons and we will miss him terribly. He acted as if he were a rough and tough guy but we knew that he had a heart of gold underneath all that gruffness.

John, I am so sorry to hear you are now a silent key. I have been thinking of you and meaning to call and talk. The ham radio community has lost a wonderful person. I will always remember our visits with you. God speed, my friend. 73'

Nancy,

I met John while working at the library. I was sad to hear he has gone. He was always so full of spirit and spunk, he was one of my favorite patrons. Peace be with you.

Memories woven with love

through the years

Brightened by laughter

and strengthened by tears

Come to unfold themselves

softly and sweetly

to cover and comfort you

gently, completely.

Thinking of you,

Dear Nancy,
We are so going to miss John's womdeful sense of humor, his dancing and his great smile. He's going miss our good potlucks. His last voicemail is still on my recorder and it's staying there. I knew things weren't going well when he told me not to bring him anymore McDonald's strawberry sundies. He will not be forgotten by all his dance friends as his contribution to the dance world was immense.

Swing in Peace John!
