Verna, I have so many fond memories of the work you and John did at the jail. I don't know if you recall or even knew that I first met John when I was a young Boy Scout volunteer at the First Avenue Service Center in Seattle. I am Verna's oldest child and was selected to escort Mom down the aisle during the wedding ceremony. John and I had some pretty good discussions about love, life and other things that bother a young man in his early to mid 20's.
