John Michael DiTomaso passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, at home in Petaluma, California, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in San Francisco, California on December 4, 1951 and grew up in Petaluma, California.  John graduated from Petaluma High School in 1970, during which time he was part of a band called “4 All Times” and continued on to UNLV with a music scholarship.  He had a passion for music, volunteered 28 years at Sunrise/Windsong Assisted Living, playing the piano and singing for the residents as well as other various locations in the Petaluma area.  He also volunteered for many years at the New Life and Way Point Church Nomadic Shelter.  


John is survived by his wife Michele DiTomaso of 49 years; brother and sister-in law (Fred & Candy); niece (Sabrina); nephew (Daniel); great nieces (Jasmine and Lilianna); great nephew (Gabriel). Preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Saverio DiTomaso.


John’s life was one of love, resilience, laughter, compassion and service to others.  May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.  A memorial service and reception will be held at New Life Christian Fellowship, 1315 Rand Street, Petaluma, CA 94954 on 3/1/25 at 3:00pm.
