John Benedict Diedrich

The Babel Family will miss John, he always was doing something for us. He would book rooms for us, make us breakfast, drive us in the awful traffic and so many more things. He was nice to us when we knew he was stressed, if we could only be able to do that. We lost a very good brother-in -law, life will not be the same. Missing you,

Mr. Diedrich was the dad of my 2nd family given the amount of time I spent at his house hanging out with his son Jeff. He was a great man, always made time for his kids, and he and Mrs. Diedrich treated me as one of their own. I remember early morning paper routes, sports on non-stop, "Old Parochs" basketball games where he played, and many more memories. Dad, I miss you. As a banker your greatest investment had nothing to do with money; it was us, your kids. And because of your investment we inherited the virtues you instilled in us. We were fortunate to have you as our dad.

I am so honored that I had the chance to meet Mr. Diedrich. It was clear from the short time I spent with him that he was a kind man, that put his family first.
