Not sure what to say?

I thank God for Father Dietzen,
What a wonderful man of God he was. I'm no Catholic but I'm a Christian. I met Father Dietzen in one of my most darkest hours. He prayed for me and supported me and had never met me. You truly have to be a man of God to reach out to a complete stranger. I am totally blessed to have known him for such a short time. May God truly bless those who mourn him as I just found out, he was an amazing example of a man, that was sold out for Christ and I am inspired...

Eternal rest, servant of the Lord. Father John....thanks for your books and articles. Many were enriched by your effort. You truly were a shepherd...a worker in the vineyard...a light shining in a dark place. Peace. Don and Pat Brennan Warren MI

May Fr. Dietzen rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him. Our most sincere condolences to his family. Fr. Dietzen was our pastor at Holy Trinity for many years, baptized all of our children, was a favorite guest at our home for multiple dinners, and loved to hear me play Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata on the piano. I also was on the Holy Trinity Pastoral Council with him for three years, where I was so impressed by his great love for the Catholic faith and his wisdom. We moved to...

Father John had a huge influence on my life as part of the Catholic Register. I worked with him at the Register right after I graduated from the Academy of Our Lady. He was such a gentle person, truly concerned about others and devoted to his vocation. Not only that but he played a pretty good guitar!!! I use to sing 8:00 daily Mass at St. Joseph's for Fr. Dietzen during those years and attending his Mass was a fantastic way to start my day. He was dedicated to Pre-Cana and worked...

This man will be greatly missed. His caring, his concern, his laughter, his thoughtfulness will leave a great void in many lives. As for me, I'll carry his spirit close to my heart. His influence has been felt deeply by many. His legacy will continue in all who were lucky enough to know him. The ripple effect of his love will carry forward for many of us as we make our own choices as to how we treat and care for others. He was great because he was the best of what a man could be. - Anne...

This holy man was a shining beacon to all of us. He empowered the laity, and stood up for Jesus and his Church, always in the most gentle and humble manner. We were graced to have him with us. May the Lord give us more men like John Dietzen.
