Not sure what to say?

John and I were cousins on our mothers' side (Motherways). His mother an my mothers came to Massachusetts from Ireland in the 30's. I first met John many years later when I was doing some research on our family; he was very generous and helpful in sharing information that I never would have found without him. John was very warm and welcoming to me, and together we found common links in our families and especially in an older family member, "Peg" (who turned out to be my godmother); since...

Fr. John is my cousin on my Dad's side. John helped me with a family history project and in recent years provided me with invaluable information and many photos of our family. We became very close during our collaboration through our correspondence and regular phone calls. Rest in Peace, John. I will never forget you and your wonderful friendship. You helped me more than anyone as I entered the world of adulthood.
So sad, you and my mother both left this world this year.

What an inspiring man! His last homily at St. Thomas More has stayed with me through all these years. May he rest in the peace he so deserves.

I will miss Father John greatly. He was a man of deep spirituality and always spoke of his love for Jesus. He was very intelligent, always aware of world events and had a unique perspective of their connection with the Word of God. He was so gentle, humble, kind and filled with compassion. He also found great joy in his companion kittens. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace dear friend.

Rest in Peace Jack. We'll always remember the holidays that you spent with us.
