Not sure what to say?

To the family of Johnny D:
I only met John 6 months ago.
He gave me my Advance route and
never forgot I wanted to be a carrier.
He always was nice and tried to
build up my route and expand it any
way he could for me. He was always
there ready to solve all the problems on
my route. I was stunned to hear of his passing and am so sorry.
Hard to believe I will never hear his
voice on the phone again.
I will always be grateful to Johhny D

Uncle Johnny,
I see your smile every second in my mind, and will always remember each and every wonderful memory we had together, from when I was a little girl until now as a young mother. Memories from when we used to go to the beach, the circus every year, baseball games, Florida, the trailer, watching fourth of July fireworks on Grandma and Grandpa's balcony, eating your ravioli's that you always made each Christmas Day, always bringing over pastries for desert, having barbeque's...

Johnny D, my friend you are missed so much already pal.I have sat no more then 2 desks from you for 25 years. My eyes have welled up many times these past few days and my heart is broken. You always picked up my spirits when I was down, I only wish I could return that favor now.You will always be in my thoughts John.I have added a picture we took last month at the CSI Benifit game for Breast Cancer. It was cold and raining but we had a good time anyway. So my friend ,may God hold you in the palm...

Upon learning of Johnnies passing I was deeply saddened. As childhood buddies, we had done it all !! We challanged the world, calculated our risks and some how always came out clean. There's not a story told of my chld hood that doesn't some how include John, from our first bikes to our first cars! I'am privileged to have these memories, for which I will ever hold. God Bless You!

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of John DiGiovanni. He was a very warm and friendly man who will be sorely missed at the SI Advance. My son, Andrew only had his route for 2 years, yet John always took our phone calls with a friendly hello and made us feel as though we had been friends for years. His courtesy and professionalism were very much appreciated. May he rest in peace.

Johnny, my dear old friend...our 35 year friendship will be cherished. Our days at the Advance were the best years of my life. You were one of a kind. I shared more laughs with you then anyone else. My heart aches and I hope to see you in heaven one day. I Love You, Benji Addeo
