WOW, I just happened to be going thru the journal as I occasionally do and noticed John's passing. I always referred to him as Johnnie since we went to grade school together. Tremendous athlete and as rivals sometimes athletically, I considered him a friend as well. His brother Mark & Brett were just little guys and i always enjoyed going over to his house and playing with Brett especially. I haven't seen John in well over 50 years as our family moved out of Peoria in 1968. My, how time flies...

My sincerest condolences to my cousins Janise and Jarel, his wife Solivian and the rest of the family. My uncle was a man of great advice, guidance and passion for everything that he did. May God bless everyone with the strength and continuous faith.

I remember John from playing indoor tennis at the River City clubs in the 1970's. He was always a good player and a good sport. My best wished and condolences to the family and friends of John.
