I have good childhood memories of Jack and his family visiting us on the farm with the Lambers and visiting him and his family at their home. The Dissels had the best comic books. We had none of those on the farm. I also visited with Jack and his wife and they with me and my husband Roger Brandner when we were young married couples. Our condolences to the Family.

I remember John and his kindness and his smile from our days together at Purcell High School. He was a nice person as a boy at Purcell and went on to richly lived life of accomplishment and significance. He is in my prayers and my thoughts. William Kehoe - class of 1959 PHS

John was the older brother of one of my best friends, Tony Dissel who passed away in 2014. The Dissel family lived in Bond Hill and attended St Agnes Church and the kids attended St Agnes school. John was a quiet person and great family member who will be greatly missed.

Remembered seeing John at Saturday masses at St. John's church. He was usually the first to arrive and always had a smile on his face. Supported the churches fish fry's every Lent season. May the love of family and friends continue to be a Blessing to all who know him.
