John Vincent Doheny

So sorry to hear of John´s passing. We served together at Scott AFB. He was an original member (Plankholder) of USTRANSCOM and a dynamic officer, fun to be around. His wry smile and humorous stories will be missed. Fair winds my friend!

My thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends. I was a client of Mr. Doheny's and he was always very kind and compassionate. I know he will be missed by many.

John was passionate about helping military members, veterans and their families, and selflessly committed his time and talent as President of the Fisher House in St Louis community group supporting the Fisher House for the St Louis VA Health Care System. His affable manner, leadership and passion for helping others was remarkable and an example for us all. Our hearts go out to his family and friends as they mourn his passing and hope they will be comforted by a life well lived.

Mr Doheny would come into our office with a smile and handed me several returns from his clients. He will be greatly missed. My prayers go to the family.

I´m sorry that I will be unable to attend John´s visitation. I worked with John for at least 25 years in an adversarial role at the IRS but John was no adversary. He was a good guy to talk with & represented his clients well. I respected John. You will be missed my friend. My deepest sympathy to John´s family & friends.
