I apologize for being so late with this posting. I only got the sad news yesterday. I have had my own health issues since last November (4 different hospital stays plus a lot of ongoing rehab) but I feel awful about John's news. Whenever I saw John he always had that devious smile and grin but he always had a good story to share. One story especially hit home about me just getting back from college and getting three hits against Jack Hurley in a game I had long ago forgotten (ln...

When ever John, Joe Walsh, and I teamed up for an evening out, it always resulted in a memory building event ! Thank you Red for all those laughs, I just wish that I could have thanked you in person. Gary Billyer

John was a classmate of mine at Curtis-class of `67. Always had a smile on his face and seemed to light up the classroom when he rolled in. Hope he is at peace now. My deepest sympathy to his family.
