JOHN P. "J.D." DONELON, age 62, beloved husband of 36 years to Kathleen (nee Shannon); loving father of Conor and Owen; proud Poppy of Shane and Cole; son of the late Alice (nee Dougherty) and R. Emmett Donelon, Sr.; brother of Robert Emmett, Jr. (deceased), Eileen Franko (Andy), Dennis, Brian (Kim), Timothy (Patti), Maureen Chambers (Michael), Terry (Susan) and the late Kathleen and Mary Brigid; brother-in-law of Jack Shannon (Rosemary, deceased), Tim Shannon (Susan) and Jim Shannon (Susan) and the late Maureen and Colleen; beloved uncle, cousin and dear friend of many.  J.D. was a retired Cleveland firefighter and president of American Abatement, Inc.  He was a 1976 graduate of St. Ignatius High School. J.D.'s family would like to thank and recognize all of his dear friends throughout the years that he met at The Public House.  Passed away November 13, 2020 with his family by his side.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, November 18, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park) at 11:30 A.M. (facemasks required).  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery (Avon).  Unfortunately, there will be no visitation due to the current pandemic.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Edward High School, 13500 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107 or Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, 6085 Parkland Blvd., Suite 175, Mayfield Hts., OH 44124.  J.D.'s Funeral Mass on Wednesday will be livestreamed on the Chambers Funeral Homes Facebook page.  Arrangements by CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND (216) 251-6566.
