Mrs. Donovan,
I don't know if you remember me, but I remember you and John very well. I am Ernestine Milardo's granddaughter. You and your husband were always very kind to my brother (Michael) and I. You often invited us into your home, and made a fuss over us. Please know that I've never forgotten either of you, nor your kindness.
I'm saddened to hear of your husband's passing. My deepest condolences. He lived a long life, and his kindness touched many lives.

My deepest sympathy on John's passing. While my Dad, Ray Dickinson, was a resident at Apple Rehab, John befriended him and my Dad enjoyed his company. John will be missed by all those who loved him. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Dear Ellen, Alma and I always enjoyed knowing the two of you and Marie. I will have to retrain my car to bypass Randolph Road for my visits to him at Apple. John was a true gentleman and always had his handshke ready to share. I always admired his ability to walk from your house to the Post Office and back home, maybe that influenced my daily walks. Love you.

Dear Ellen, I was saddened to hear of John's passing today. He was the most wonderful man, as you know. Even as a child, I always felt so welcomed by you and John when I came to your house. He was a true gentleman and true to his faith, always congenial, and a model to others. He was greatly respected and will be greatly missed. I as just as fond of you, and hope you are surrounded by the support of loving relatives. My prayers are with you.
Love, Jane Milardo
