I'm so very, very sorry. I felt disbelief at learning of John's death, because although I knew he was ill, I didn't know how ill, and .... there was probaby some denial too, because he was such a vital person always, so full of curiosity, so ready to add his ideas to a conversation. He was a talented artist -- I think I remember him showing me a beautiful drawing of the house he wanted to build way back in high school. He wrote beautifully too. I remember John from St. Thomas and BCHS. He was a great person when he and i were young. He certainly did great things after high school. I remember his ability to make people happy with humor. RIP John--dennis klim
