Not sure what to say?

I think of Jack, my former college roommate often and with regret that we did not stay in close contact after 10 years after college. I admired and liked him more than I can say. He is often in my memory with wonderful thoughts.

My boss from '77 to '79 at Chemical, NY. My advisor many times thereafter. Gave me the opportunity of a lifetime when he recommended me for an international posting to our London office. A great mentor, I am forever in his debt. Taken too soon from us, may he rest in peace.

Even after all these years, I still miss my former college roommate. I think of him often and wonder how Marylou is doing. I wish her and their children every wish for a long and happy life.

I knew Jack mostly after graduation, as a classmate and as our class fund manager. Always pleasant. A soft-spoken gentleman.
My sympathies,

Dear Marylou,

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jack's death. As you know, he was a very, very dear friend - and former roommate - all through our years together at Lafayette College, a friendship that was very deep and meaningful to me. He was a very bright young man and mature beyond his years, a person I respected highly. I was profoundly saddened when we lost contact with each other 10 years after graduation, but I followed his career through the Lafayette Alumnus magazine and...

Marylou and Family, My deepest sympathy with the passing of Jack Dorman. He was my boss for 10 years at Chemical Bank. I was his secretary for about 8. My husband also worked for him as well. He is remembered as a great boss, a kind and caring man. He always made sure that I was taken care of at the bank once he left.

Hi Marylou,
I'm saddened to hear of Jack's passing, and I offer you and your family my condolences.
Although I wasn't a close friend, I've known Jack since we were in Lincoln School together. I've always considered him to be one of the good guys and there were too few like him. Our school family has sadly lost its head.
I'll keep Jack and you in my prayers. Good luck to you.

Sincerely,
Ed Bennett
