In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I was with John one night at the Legal Tender, it must have been late in 2019. He wasn´t feeling himself so we called the paramedics, just to be safe. When they arrived he was already starting to feel better and was totally on top of things. He quickly charmed them them and had them laughing in is his very sweet way. John Dorn was a great example in many ways. I only knew him as Les' father, but I've heard others characterize John and BLee as special people.

On behalf of my dad, Bruce, I want to extend my deepest condolences to all the children and family members of the great John Dorn family. My dad has always talked about his friendship with John, no doubt bolstered by their mutual affiliations with Choate and Yale. I also remember him talking about his visits to Glendorn. In particular, when I lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston) in the '80s, his presence in the Lonestar state would always trigger his re-telling of stories involving your great...

My heart is broken to see the sad news of John Dorn passing my deepest condolences to the family. My father David Marmolejo worked for John and B Lee for over 40 years. John was a great boss to my dad. Rebecca, Leslie, Timothy and Stephen your dad was a great man and father. My dad loved each one of you. Our family will be praying for the family. R.I.P. John Dorn.

I did not know this man, John Dorn. But as a longtime Midlander, I can tell by this obituary I missed out on knowing a magnificent human. My condolences to his family.

First of all, I would like to express our deepest and most sincerely sympathies and condolences to John & family. Especially to Becca, Les, Timothy and Steven on behalf of our Father Mr. David Marmolejo who has also passed away and in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
