John loved this Country and dedicated his working life to its security. His contributons were always selfless and of the highest caliber. I had the pleasure of working closely with him during the period 1986-1992. Our tasks were vitally important and complex, yet John always enabled our solutions with crisp insight and understanding. My prayers are with John's family, and I ask that they accept my deepest sympathy. Please be very proud of this great American.

My prayers are with Jean and the family. I relieved John as the intelligence officer on the CARDIV TWO (CTF 60) staff in mid-1976. It was a pleasure to take over the well run and organized shop left by John. He was admired and respected by the officers and enlisted men on the staff. God bless the Dothard family.
