John M. Dougherty

Just saw him at Country Club of Scranton a few weeks ago while there for my son´s tournament. John was always larger than life. It´s impossible to believe he´s gone. I pray for your peace and strength getting through this horrible loss.

Johnny was truly one of a kind and he will be missed by so many people. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need and his generosity to people, many times without them even knowing it was John were countless. Our thoughts and prayers go out to my sister Colleen , Calah, Shane, "Momma Joe" and the whole Dougherty family at this sad time. John, memories of you came flooding back of you in my life since childhood & in all of them you were smiling, or being protective & being so great to my family. I appreciate you always making people feel like a million bucks, and like if we ever needed anything we had someone to call. Thank you for showing me that sometimes our imperfections are what make us the most lovable. I´m so honored that you were my cousin. You made people feel so loved, I hope you felt it back 1000x over. Love you....
