Not sure what to say?

I just now learned of your passing. You were a great friend.

I have never seen someone with so much strength to move on through so much adversity. I loved watching the interaction with you and your beloved dog, Eddie.

I'm sorry I missed your celebration of life.

My condolences to the family. May the happy memories you have of him last through your life.

He was a mighty Good looking young man in this picture. My thoughts are with all of John's family and friends in your time of Greif.

As a boy growing up next door to the Douglas', we would often hear John come outside and yell, "Where's my crew?" Within seconds, 5 or 6 of us neighbor boys were running toward the Douglas home to "help" John work on one of his car projects. This was usually always followed up with a trip to Baskin Robins as payment. It was awesome. It was also pretty magical to go fishing in Betsy Bus and Betsy Boat. John and Joanne were also our first employers as my brother and I proudly got to take...

John, all of your McDonalds friends are missing you a lot! I will miss all your smiles, feeding burritos to Eddie and especially all your hugs! See you someday on the other side. Love you, Jennifer

Johnny D. Will miss you every day my friend. We spent 15 years fishing together @ strawberry making up all the fish tales we could. You told the definition of a fisherman is a jerk waiting for a jerk. All the life experiences, stories & cars you have loved that made up your life. We shared unlimited laughs & special times. Glad that I was a big part of it for 40 years. You called me your little brother a lot. May you be out of pain & be resting peacefully & driving a fast car.

You are not alone during this time of sorrow and pain. May God give your family strength and comfort to help you endure this loss. As you remember your beloved one, the God of peace give you comfort and peace in every way. May you find Strength from the love and care that surrounds you and comfort in the memories that you shared. Please accept my sincere condolences. IS 41:10
