Not sure what to say?

I was John's customer(Quaker Oats) for many years. He was like a second father to me as I was often his golf or Notre Dame guest, and we had a strong bond for all things Irish.John, and Kate are in our prayers, and "Touchdown Jesus" Will watch over all the Downs clan

Dear Dennis
My prayers are with you and your family during your time of grief. Your father must have been a great man because he raised one.
Sincerely,
Maureen Hayes

Dear Marge & Family,

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. I was fortunate to have met your father who was a "true gentleman". My deepest condolences are with you and your family as they grieve.

Dear Dennis and Family,

We are truly sorry for your loss of your Father & Grandfather. May he R.I.P.

Kathy, Mo & Families,
So sorry for your loss. John left an amazing family behind. We hope your best memories of your dad help to make the loss more bearable for you all.

Kathy and Family,
Our sympathy to you and your family at this time. From the "few" stories you may have told he was a very loving man who built a very loving family. You were lucky to have such a great influence in your life...so you can pass on the same.
Love,
Linda Townsend and Kelly Giurdanella

To the Family of John Downs,

I want to extend my sincere sympathy. Your father was a very special person with a very special wife and family. I will pray for you in the days ahead as you adjust to a world without your beloved father.

Dear Maureen, The evidence of your father's strength and grace as man of love is clearly shown in his children grandchildren and great grandchildren. I think you know that your dad liked Jim a lot and the feeling was mutual. Perhaps they will connect again in heaven.
Your dad lived a long and fruitful life and has now been rewarded for his faithfullness. We will continue to keep you and your mother in our prayers. love Linda Finn Wright and John Wright
